Here is an Audience Dictionary for reference: https://labs.fullthrottle.ai/audience-dictionary
You have the option to set the campaign to one of three different options.
- National – will target the whole United States.
- Radius – Set a specific mileage around a center address. Shown in the screenshot above. The campaign will target audiences that fall into that radius.
- Zip List – provide a list of zip codes. The campaign will target audiences that fall into those zip codes.
Our tech requires all campaigns to have anchor ads uploaded for all tactics running. You have the ability to upload promo ads for all tactics and set flight dates for the promo ads. Once the end date is met, the anchor ads kick in to start running, so your campaign never has down time. Providing no need to manually keep track of when promo ads end and need to stop a campaign!
All ads will be saved in one place – the Open Ad Library! Shown above. In there you can click which ads you want to run, set specific click through URLs for media, view ads, and see ad status/type/name/details.
For all creative spec requirements please refer to the Creative Hub!
Lastly, select the tactics to run in the campaign by clicking right on the tactic icon. Once you select the tactic, it will show under ‘Tactics & Ads’. There you can set the budget per tactic; impressions will calculate based on the budget of the tactic. Anchor & Promo Ads can be uploaded and selected, then the ads will display under ‘Anchor Ads’ and/or ‘Promo Ads’ with the number of ads in the rotation. Shown above, 3 ads are in the rotation to run for display.
For the Smartmail tactic, the quota limit cannot be greater than the number of 1p Audience identified. Smartmail is only served to 1p Audience; 3p Audience will not receive smartmail even if the 3p audience segment is selected in the campaign – Only Display, Online Video, Free TV, and Connected TV serve the 3p audience.
The audience size must be 1,000 at least to save if you only have 1P audience segments selected. It will give a minimum size warning if 1P Audience is less than 1,000. If you do not want to add more 1P audiences you can add a 3P audience. The 3P audience will not get applied to smartmail; however, it will apply to other tactics in the campaign. Adding a 3P audience allows you to bypass the blocker. That blocker is set in place as we recommend for best practice to have greater than 1,000 1P audience to run media.
Once the campaign is built, you can save it as a draft to review before activating or sharing with others.
If you are sharing the campaign draft link with others, follow these steps:
- Hit “Save Draft”.
- Return back to the campaigns list.
- Click back into your recently saved campaign.
- Copy that link to share.
They key here is to return to the campaigns list THEN copying the saved draft from there. If you Save then copy that link, the audiences and budgets will show blank because the URL is not picking up the fields you just saved.
