Understanding the CDK feed set-up process

Who can submit a CDK order?

Only designated officers at your dealership can place an order for a DMS feed in CDK. These are typically upper management roles, such as a GM, CFO, Controller, or Dealer Principal.

If you are unable to find who at your dealership is authorized to place an order in the eStore, you will need to contact your CDK representative or CDK support to:

Find out who does have the authorization.
OR
Receive instruction to have authorization granted to a new employee to place the order.


How does a Dealer place an order?

You’ll receive an email with detailed instructions that include:

  1. CDK eSTORE URL - CLICK HERE
  2. SELECT PRODUCT/CATALOG

The order has been placed. Now what?

  1. Order will instantly be received and reviewed in CDK eStore.
    • Correct accounts must be selected for accounting, sales, and service.
    • Correct catalog must be selected.
  2. If potential errors appear in the order:
    • The dealership contact will be notified to help resolve.
    • Note that the order is final and billing begins once approved. If any changes are needed due to errors, dealer contact needs to make edits or a new feed will need to be setup.

Once the order is error-free, fullthrottle.ai® will approve and CDK will begin the installation process. This usually takes 2-5 business days. After this is finished, fullthrottle.ai® will work with the data to have it ready for use.
